Learning Object Repository Saves Time

Today's busy teachers face multiple challenges. Not the least among them is identifying class content that meets state standards and prepares students for state graduation tests. A Learning Object Repository can help, but only if it's standards-based.

REACTOR Can Help

Unlike MERLOT or many other Learning Object Repositories, IQity's REACTOR is an learning object repository integrated with a learning management suite. Organized by state educational standards, REACTOR allows you to easily find and use peer reviewed learning objects along with providing you the ability to create and share custom curriculum.

See how REACTOR can make a difference for you by checking out our article on Learning Object Repositories.

Learning Management Suite Offers More

We've mentioned that there are a lot of different Learning Management Systems (LMS) to choose from. It's no wonder. Learning Management Systems are used for everything from corporate training to K-12 instruction. Before you get bogged down in technology that works for training loan officers and boiler inspectors, consider a Learning Management SUITE designed for schools.

Learning Management Suite Offers More

At IQity, we distinguish our e-learning platform as a Learning Management Suite because it offers much, much more that a Learning Management System. Yes, an LMS is included, but so is standards-based content, a real-time web-casting tool, and more. Check out our article on the differences between a LMS and a Learning Management Suite for details.

In other words, Moodle is open-source: the code underlying the software is available to anyone wants to modify it. But using Moodle will definitely cost you money.

Moodle May Be Costly

There are many ways in which using Moodle can cost your school district money, perhaps a lot of money. To see what they are, look into our article about the hidden costs of Moodle.
