Moodle Can Be Costly

There's a lot of buzz in the educational community about Moodle, the supposedly free content management system. But did you know that Moodle's own web page says, "The fact that Moodle is Free (not free as in no money, but Free as in Free Speech) means that the efforts of the core team are entirely public." In other words, Moodle is open-source: the code underlying the software is available to anyone wants to modify it. But using Moodle will definitely cost you money.
