IQity Teams with School Chiefs

IQity has become a Tier 1 corporate sponsor for the Council of Chief State School Officers, an association of public officials who head departments of elementary and secondary education in U.S. jurisdictions. This nonprofit, nonpartisan group provides advocacy and technical assistance on a broad range of educational issues.

As part of its sponsorship activities, IQity provided support for the recently concluded Summer Institute. The focus of the 2008 Summer Institute was exploring ways that state and local education agencies can work better together to assure high quality teaching and learning for each and every child. The topic was particularly relevant for the IQity officials in attendance because the company’s mission is to close the gap that socio-economic status, geography, medical conditions, learning styles, and other historic barriers often present in the educational system.

IQity officials welcomed the opportunity to network with the nation’s educational leaders and explore ways in which IQity can develop tools that best meet the needs of elementary and secondary school districts.
